Yup gotta order stuff now. I'd buy a whole cage if they made it lol. Just about every thing they make is tough to break.

Awesome thanks. Good price too I think

Much cheaper than the GPM one I had to install. I would rather have RPM plastic than aluminum any day. Guess I should order a back up tower and back up a-arms. Probably will need back ups for the back ups.

Wow, thats great. I just installed the GPM Aluminum Tower this weekend which I'm happy with. But I would of jump on that first for sure.

I second that Deckard. Crossing my fingers for some Steering Knuckles and Carriers. I see they just released some for the SCX10, which is at least an Axial. Far fetched Im sure... but would be cool.

Just installed the rpm shock tower, good fit and everything but was kinda shocked at the flex it has, seems like theres more flex then stock. But rpm plastic is night and day from axial plastic.

If you can break rpm stuff they will replace it for free
It has a life time warranty

Re: Rpm front shock towers at TGN

Aren't shock towers supposed to be rigid so the shocks can function properly not only during braking and accelerating out of corners but also on rugged uneven terrain ?? Also with the shock tower flexing wouldn't the a-arms bare the brunt of it ?? I get that RPM has a lifetime warranty if you break it they'll replace it, its a money saver and added peace of mind not to keep buying replacement, but why not just design a better tower so all the parts work like they were meant to rather than parts cancelling each other out or worse contribute to one monumental disaster. I bought RPM towers for my sons e-max when I converted to brushless suspension tuning became a nightmare and the truck was slouchy, then someone at the track explained the mechanics of suspension so I tried aluminum towers since then the truck was more responsive and a tad more agile. Granted that these are 2 different configuration but when I reinforced my RTR's tower by putting a tie bar and braces I haven't broken a tower since and thats with 17 jumps in 26 bash session. Be that as it may, it has only been a couple of months I'm sure there's a bad landing out there with my RTR's name on it but for now I choose to believe that the mods that I added compliments my YXL bashing style.

Oh and before I forget the comments above are in no way a declaration of my expertise on the matter, just a noob with some YXL disaster experience sharing what I learned. Also for those who have bought the RPM tower please post some of your feedback I am interested to know if it can stand the abuse.

Im going to add braces to the rpm shock towers to help with the flex. Anyone know part numbers for the 4mm bent rod ends from xl kit or other companys that are good and beefy?

Are you wondering about the axial M4 bent rod ends?

AX31186 tree has the ends I used. They are holding up good. I hit a tree Monday night...not hard...but hard enough to bend an axle. The braces held up nice.

What about the tower, I know you have CF but are there any visible signs of cracking or breakage even a hairline if there is then clearly its just transferring more stress which is the opposite of what it's intended for.

Re: Rpm front shock towers at TGN

Tower is good Tony. Actually really good. I don't know if I "needed" those braces but they aren't hurting anything. And I crash a lot!! :) Front shocks are off right now...putting a tad thinner fluid in them, and while I was there I checked out the whole front end including the tower...it's a real nice piece. My aluminum Dhawk tower was fine too but I got scared that it would bend the little mounting tabs on the aluminum bulk head so I swapped to the fiber tower so it would be the weak point instead of the bulk. Easier to replace.
