Tuned Yeti XL suspension I've been working on tuning my suspension over the past couple of weeks. I wasn't happy with the way the truck handled under speed and bumps right out of the box so I made the following adjustments. It mobs really well now and tracks amazingly through the bumps and jumps. see youtube video description for details. watch in 4K resolution on a computer for best detail. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/vbjrUJpY0l8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Yeti XL suspension Setup: Front: -Axial Green Springs 5.35lb adjusted 3/4 up body -40wt shock oil and 4-hole 1.4mm shock piston -Solar D77 Servo @ 6.0V (368 oz/in via CC BEC) -GPM servo link with plastic ends -Dhawk bellcrank -Aluminum camber and steering links with stock plastic ends -GPM C-hub and Knuckles -3 bearing mod, 3 shims at pinion, 1 shim at c-clip -Toe in: Measured Front:6-1/2 Rear: 6-5/8 to outside of tire for 1/16" difference. (front being smaller for toe-in) -Camber: stock measurements Rear: -stock links and axles -Axial Red springs 3.34lb adjusted mid body -20wt shock oil and 6-hole 1.4mm shock piston -Hot Racing rear swaybar with notched (lighter) torsion rod -3 bearing mod, 3 shims at pinion, 1 shim at c-clip. Wheels Tires: -Axial 8 Spoke oversized rims -RC4WD Mickey Thompson MTZ tires with additional 1" thk foam inside and out to bulge sidewalls -Hot Racing +5mm hubs ***Note that this hub and wheel combo require the red Hot Racing spacers behind the wheels to be flipped. If you don't run them you'll have to source a spacer or 3/4" washer. |

Haha, I just poach the local construction sites during the weekends, that's all. This is a drainage field at a new church that went up.
