Default Jayn Kit Build Thread

I love reading other people's build threads... So I am going to make my own.

Most of the build will go on over Thanksgiving weekend, but here is a list of parts and pieces.. and a bunch of pictures of these parts...

I am open to advice and help.

Yeti XL Kit
Mamba Monster X Combo with fan
Associated Rival Wheels
Barndog Racing Panels
T Bone Racing Roof
GPM Steering rack Parts
GPM Front Body Mount
Pro-Line Body Mount
Solar D772 Servo
Tekno Servo Horn
Avid Bearings
eBay S/S Screw set
Shims to shim my diffs in every way
1M diff oil for rear
500K diff oil for front

The Barndog panels are fantastic.

Looking pretty good so far I Think... Can't wait to build it!

The top is my Favorite.

Wrapped the Tbone in CF Vinyl, then this goofy Yeti sticker my son picked out.

Keep a good eye on your build manual and parts list. When I built my kit there were some bearings and screws mislabeled in the manual but all the parts were there.

Direct from Icon, that is the 12" sticker with the yellow from the sticker pack.

Did the passenger side tonight.... More stickers coming this week. Had to leave room.

And I suck at soldering... How did I burn The ring finger on my off hand?

Ha ha. Now that some funny bad word. Your gonna need a bigger table.

Put those TA Rival wheels in the background in the oven and pillage the rims. IMO i wouldn't build your kit with the stock wheels.

I have Many hours in this weekend and will be ready to roll soon. Down to wire routing and esc mounting.

Everything went together pretty well. Going to change up some springs I think.

Castle link is great!

You need to secure or mount the rear of those side panels to the cage.

Looks great. I like the use of large stickers. Love the Steam sticker on the hood. There should be a hole to secure the rear of the panel. I had to make a hole into the roll cage with a body reamer.

I know some people like the look w/o the rear tire. For some reason I freaks me out. It looks broken.. lol.

Thanks for the kind words... And the reminder on the rear of the panels. Drill was in the garage, and I was too lazy to go get it.

Rear tire is going on. Jut not on there yet.

The decal theme on the body came out KILLER!! real nice work. The Barndog panels are just perfect for this RC. Once there is some "bash rash" on the panels and stickers it will look perfect!
