This thing is a monster in snow! Stock A arm couldnt withstand the low temp and it snapped. Good opportunity to upgrade with RPM arms |

Hey there! Nice video, except you seem to suffer from VVS (Vertical Video Syndrome). In case you don't know that disease, you should check that on Youtube. ;) Had the same problems with the A-Arms. They are far to weak. I suggest getting some from aluminium. I got some from Hot Racing and they are great. GPM also offers them, though you'd have to order them from Hong Kong I guess. Dres |

For the A arms, I always thought aluminum arms are more prone to break because they can't absorb the impact as well as quality plastic? | |

Haven't heard of that. But I can't imagine something breaking faster than the stock-ones. ;) But I guess most of any shock should be absorbed by the tires. Maybe you find a thread about that. If not it would be a nice idea to start one. Anybody here who broke an aluminium A-Arm? |

Just my opinion. I will not run aluminum control arms. They do not deflect energy. Sending the impact someplace else. Possibly breaking more expensive or less easy to change parts. And if you bend a control arm pin in an alum arm good luck getting it out not destroying the alum arm. then the added weight and higher cost of the aluminum arm. No thanks. If or when i break the stockers i will replace them with RPM. Last edited by hotrodsoup; 01-09-2016 at 06:05 PM. |

Awesome video. I could tell your Yeti XL wanted so badly to hit that tree. Great job.

Nice slo-mo on that powerslide - well caught if you were filming and driving. I gotta get some footage but I mostly run mine at nigh on the street - people round here think someone's drilling outside until the see the XL zip past. Keep the vids coming

Nice video. Ive tried videoing and driving but I hit a tree once and a solid raised manhole cover another time. No more videos for me, unless I can convince the GF to do it. LMFAO!!!!! Thats not happening.
