Default car/truck stand help

Is anyone using a car/truck stand w/ their Yeti XL's? Which ones work since they'd have to be tall enough and stable enough to keep the truck balanced? Thanks.

I have used a Rigid pipe stand found at Home depot for around 30.00 for my 1/8 and 1/5 scale cars it has adjustable height and works great.

Thanks for the info. Getting one for the field for sure.

For the bench i use this http://www.amazon.com/Stage-FS7850B-.../dp/B000CD1R7K

** Since it is a footrest, you do have to drill out the existing pivot point and make a new pivot hole so it will go up and down flat but for less than $1 i bought the cheaper one.

or you could spend $$ if you have deep pockets fo rthe same thing here Overdose Racing "The Car Stand" Adjustable Stand [ODR1010] | Maintenance - AMain Performance Hobbies - AMain Performance Hobbies.

I don't have any pix of it alone.... But I made one out of a $5 dollar store foam roller, shoe goo, and some duct tape. Works awesome.

With my XL on it:

I have a old stand I had from racing buggy in the 90s.... just dug it out . It doesn't fit perfectly but for display it's cool.

1/8 aluminum plate and I tig weld it together. Coat the top with under coating for anti slip. Good parts storage in the middle. plus options are endless as far as height and such. I have built one for all my trucks and make em custom fit or sized for the truck.

Similar to Barndog, I've been using the Rockwell Jawstand. It might be a little overkill but I originally picked it up for my 1/5 scale rigs but works great for my YXL too. To mount the YXL, I just cut a piece of 2x4, small piece of plywood to fit under the YXL and covered it with tool box drawer liner. Works great and "no slip".
