I'm running a hobbywing 150amp quicrun ESC and a leopard 4082 1600kv motor. Lots of power and low temps!

Sensored system for mild crawling but you can install a Dewalt brushed motor and get some awesome performance from that as well!!!

MM-X with Tekin T8 2000 kv, works great for crawling or "go fast"

If you are using 4s lipos then stay around 2000kv-2200kv for the motor. If you are using 6s then stay around 1500kv-1600kv for the motor. You always want to look at the motors max RPM and shoot to stay under that. Now..you can still gear it for 40-45mph and use the Dhawk 2-speed system and have the best of both worlds too. On this page... Kershaw Designs - Hobbywing/Leopard Sensored Is a great system for $180 for a 4s/120amp system. Or the $230 for the XR8 upgrade for a 4s/6s/150amp system. 1650kv if your using 6s or 2150kv on 4s. Or you can go even cheaper and get the Dewalt 820 14.4v brushed motor on 4s max and any good 100amp ESC capable of running brushed motors and have smooth crawling capabilities and good top speeds for even cheaper $. |

I bought the tekin t8 sensorerd motor an I bought the mamba monster 2 only to realize the mamba monster 2 isn't a sensorerd esc.

I'm quite surprised how well it crawls with MMX/2200kv on 4S, especially if you tame it down from the radio. No cogging AT ALL. I'm not saying it is a actual crawler, especially with it's open diffs (although I filled them with 500k oil), but it's as close as you can get, especially with a 11 tooth pinion I already ordered. I'm really curious how it will perform on not very extreme crawling.
