Default Has anyone installed the GPM aluminum rear damper mount?

Hi everyone, I have a Yeti XL kit that I'm upgrading right now. I bought the GPM aluminum rear damper mounts which can be seen here: GPM Racing Axial Yeti XL Aluminium Rear Damper Mount - 2Pcs Set Gun Metal YTL030

So I'm assuming these pieces just kind of sit on top of the existing plastic rear damper mounts? Are you guys using the stock screws and just not caring that they no longer screw in as far due to the added thickness of the aluminum damper mount?

Also what are the 2 included screws and nuts used for? Does it have anything to do with the 2 mystery screws on the bottom? I can't imagine anyone would want to mount their shocks there.

Thanks in advance for any info you might have!

I just got mine last week. I used stock screws for the mount and the included screws and nuts for the shock.

The shock stem goes inside of the support and the plate covers the support

I used stock screws to mount it and left shocks in stock location. The 2 extra bottom holes are other shock mount options. I used the bottom rear hole for my HR 140mm limit strap.
