| FPV on Yeti XL
I would really like to use my Yeti XL as a platform for trying FPV. I saw this on youtube and it looks awesome! Just like being behind the wheel. Anyone have experience doing something like this? I have no idea where to start. |

When I get all of the components figured out I'll do a detailed build thread with my lessons learned etc. I'm hoping to provide others with a list that makes doing something like this as turn key as possible. Virtual 4x4ing like this just seems too cool to pass up Last edited by SeanKewley; 04-24-2016 at 02:01 PM. |

I bought the Fatshark PredatorsV2 for my vehicle. They work really good and come with everything you need to get started. The more I drove it, the more I wanted to make a designated vehicle for FPV. A fault I found with the Predators is, they fog up easily. I see they make other models that include a fan. The antenna I used for a bit and later I replaced with a IBCrazy one. The stock works, but really best for line of site. Now that I have bought the Fatshark Predators, I would consider heard tracking.

Nope I'm just a MeAt HeAd lol I've got the V3 teleporters... I had it mixed up with the functions of the band widths.. I was thinking my Drone would benefit from using the 5.8 band then causing me to get it all mixed up in my head !! Awesome I'm all set... I gues that means your right time for a upgrade... Head tracking |

When I received them, I strapped them on my 6 year son's head and he drove around like a pro. In fact, I think he has more time on the goggles then I do. Last edited by MaxxPain; 04-26-2016 at 11:50 AM. |

I've been doing some research and it looks like I'm going to need a HAM license for a transmitter over 10mW in power. Guess it's a bit more involved than just buying components. Looks like I have more homework to do in addition to a parts list.
