Default Finally broke the steering.

So on my 4th set of batteries though the truck I snapped the steering linkage.

I'm thinking about ordering this, Hot Racing Axial Yeti XL RC Car upgrades and Hop-ups

IS the HR one pretty good? Also what else should I upgrade while the front end is apart?

Well I just noticed the HR is out of stock. I've read good things about the DHawk stuff. Maybe I will go that route.

I ended up going with the Dhawk Steering set up with the servo saver and I also ordering the Dhawk bulkhead. I figured since im gona take the front diff out and put thicker diff oil in, I'll just replace that plastic bulkhead while im there.

When I ordered my stuff from dhawk a while back, from the day I ordered it and got it was 7 days total. Now that's impressive lol.

Good choice on the dhawk steering, way better then HR. Double sheer vs single, and HR ends up havin slop.

In my past threads I mentioned his direct email and he usually cuts off 10-20%

aerohawk@sina.com

I don't have any personal gain from the transaction I just think he makes quality parts and listens to the community's needs..

I went the HR route and used teflon instead of the plastic bushings in the kit, and it is tight.... Two days from Tower.

I put the new linkage in and holy crap what a difference it makes! So much less slop in the front end. Now to replace the $30 servo I just striped out

Probably gona go for a HS-7950TH. Its pricey, but from what I have read they are built to last.

Anyone have any experience with RC Gear Shop servos? I got an email from Tower Hobbies today and they have this on sale.
