Default Bomber XL

Hey guys ... I've taken a minute to figure out a EASY straight axle conversion... Here it is only requiring ONE 10$ item and about 3 hrs of time......But you're gonna have to subscribe to my youtube channel for a full breakdown build series... This is a mock up that I personally think would work for full function...The purpose of this mock up was for geometry references for a hand made aluminum one that incorporates the Vanquish housingS for 4WS . . soon to come..

With this as a option ...it would be killer for a stock crawler inspired XL for RWS

Here's a couple of pictures

any body interested ??

I'm interested for sure. Killer work. Would like to see some photos of the lower arm mounted to the lockout. The lower arm and upper link is probably how you corrected the camber. I am guessing though.

32" long y 21" 3/8" wide... It's another XMAXX KILLER

Ahaaaa... Thank-you you're too kind It's funny...I recently established a Instagram account and AXIAL blocked me because of my willingness to help their reputation and the basher community...
I performed 125+ free pinion modifications to THEIR customers and spent a ass load of money on their products and that's the kind of thanks I get.. blackballed..

What ever... I can build a better Axial than they can lol

You only got blocked because the wrong people at the company are seeing what you are doing. If the right people saw what you are doing you would be under NDA and on the payroll and we wouldn't be able to see what was going on at BHB Laboratories. You heard it from me first... BHB Laboratories. That is the brand name =)

Here's a quick video over the rolling chassis ..

I've asked the community for some advice...

7950Th mounting on the axle....or.... 1/5 servo hidden with scale control link. ?

Installing the T8 with the two speed first for the factory aspect.....
Then... convert the Bomber XL into a Monster Truck...
What do you guys think?

So after trying to be helpful and honest with Axial and getting the cold shoulder over the HD pinion debacle I decide to jump ship... I built a prototype for Traxxas... The BIG MAXX see ya latter guys...

Just kidding I'm the fester on AXIAL's ass ..the "Red Headed Step-child "

My buddy that has a XMAXX was talking shit about Dragging around my bomber... He's pretty quite these days lol... If we do look for a reenactment of the youtube "Truck gets pulled in parking lot"... When I bring it back it wont have a wheel left on it LMAO

Wow! You turning into Hemistorm 2.0? That's an awesome build, man. Well done.
For motor choice, I would go with the sensored motor since this is more of a rock crawler. But I'm no expert in this field, so don't take that suggestion too seriously. Haha.
I'll be watching this build closely though, very interesting.

Meeting with my Graphics guy tomorrow...

I plan on replicating the Bomber scheme ... Traditional colors ...

dose anybody have any other ideas for a Bomber XL... Like color ... I was thinking red, black and silver in a bomber format might look cool, but I keep trying to keep it factory as possible..

Back in the Yeti cave carving up some Axials & aluminum I figured I'd catch you guys up on the progress.

Basic hand, cheep meterials and the need to challenge your fundmental abilities can lead to a good time.

3/16 ABS skidpan

SMT 5 layout

Two 1515 2200kv and the big dog 2028...

The BHB internal aluminum skeleton reinforcement system....
The side rails serve three purposes.
1- provide a mounting surface for the debris screen.
2- lateral reinforcement for the bearing locations e.i shock truss cage.
3- plate /support the battery compartments layers.
Also I'm making a bearing support for the traction bars that will attach to the rails for the SMT5

Guys ... I know that I intended on using a frame supported 1/5 servo but in testing I wanted to eliminate compounding issues wile I'm testing/adjusting cast/camber/clock..
I through this thing together ..I utilized the mounting location for the truss support as well as used a diff cover thread. It's supper strong..I'm going to dimple die to lighting things up.. I did keep it close as I could to the center.

22" 9/16 wide.......

Servo battery compartment ... I've also thought about adding another matching battery for lights etc. I'm working on a ABS cover to retain them also to keep it clean.
