RC4WD axle skid plate

Since I could not find one, I made one out of a piece of medical grade stainless I had lying around. What do you think. Loss of clearance is only the thickness of the stainless plate. Thus crap was so hard just to drill a hole in.

What do you think? Any concerns of bending those tabs on the axle?

Looks is good. How is it held on there? Friction from the tabs?

I'll be bolting it through the tabs on the axle. It's fit it tight against the tabs and axle housing, so there should be little pull on the axle housing from impacts.

I like it

Paint it black like the axle - it'll look great when it gets scratched up

Of course, like virtually everyone, I love the look of a new or clean vehicle but a well used vehicle screams "someone has been having a lot of fun with me"

Now that I think about it . . . I used to date a woman who had that same look

Thats funny right there. I could easily blacken it up some. Good idea.
