A YXL with a center differential on 4s would be virtually unbreakable

Are we talking about something like a Nero?

I honestly think tougher... The Nero is overweight and unbalanced IMO. Simplicity wins in my book and after adding a CD the YXL it's a all around winner plus it's got a damn straight axle

I agree it's overweight, the exo skeleton ,central chassis spine and lay down shocks probably have something to do with that.
I've been so occupied with my YXL's lately, but when I throw the Nero out into the sh#t it is amazing.
I'll try to keep up with what you're doing.

Sense you've got two you definitely should try out a CD mod It really allows the yxl to handle way more power and abuse

I completely forgot to check my parts bin for my 1/8th buggy. I have a full center diff for it, I need to get a second pair of mounting brackets but gonna play around with it and try to make it work with the holes already in place! I need to get a second chassis so I can mock everything up! Very excited to say the least.
