Hello All, It's that time when I get to buy some upgrades.(well my wife is telling me I can) I am already going to get the Dhawk, steering and front diff housing. My question is how do people like the Hot Racing stuff: Aluminum AR60 Rear Axle Truss, Rear Chassis Lower Link, Aluminum Rear Chassis Upper Link? Its pretty much stock other then the rear diff shield, as well as putting a bolt in my rear drive shaft. Ooo I also run 4s for right now, not sure if I will put 6s, as my 4 year old runs it with me. Thank you and have a great day. |

Hot Racing is great but due to only being black, too much and you've basically recreated everyone's same Hot Racing setup. To add some custom colorization I like GPM parts and even Team Raffee at Atees. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk |

Thank you, for all the response. The color doesn't matter to me honestly, and I rather have black then anything as that goes with any paint color, in my opinion.

I really liked the front lower bulkhead in Aluminum. I kept bending the stock skid plate on hard hits. I bought the Dhawk bulkhead and its been great. The HR one looks good too, plus I think the HR eliminates the skid plate. This solved bending skid plates. ![]() Another thing I like the the Dhawk Shock Caps. No more leaks. ![]() The other thing I noticed a nice improvement on was the Dhawk Shock Tower. My stock plastic one never broke, but I did notice how soft and bendy it was. The Dhawk version has the shock spacers built into it, vers the HR one provides the spacer separate. I did notice my steering improved and seemed sharper. ![]() If you haven't broken an A-Arm, then great. I broke a few before the RPM arms came out. So I bought the Aluminum arms from Dhawk. I would normally stay away from aluminum arms plus I thought, if these bend I will buy the RPM one. But very surprisingly, I haven't bent them yet and I have beat on them plenty. ![]() The HR serrated nut kit is great because. It adds 5mm of width and I noticed less roll overs. Plus they are far better then the stock setup. They support the wheel and the nuts dig into the wheel better. ![]() I have recently bought a bunch of rear axle HR stuff and all of it looks well made. So you have options. Last edited by MaxxPain; 06-07-2017 at 01:09 AM. |

Thank you MaxxPain, I was looking st the stock tower as well. Nothing has broken on it as of yet but to be honest I have not gone to the track near by. I am a stay at home dad of 2 boys so they keep me in my toes, once one goes to pre school then I plan to run a little more. Right now I am looking at stock towers, front diff, new springs(not sure which ones yet) some rear axle goodies too. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk |

[QUOTE=Jeo-15;5716800]Hey guys how's it going? I'm looking to get aluminum tie rods for my yeti xl! Are the upper links and lower links by gpm the same links? I'm only finding upper links for the car but not the lower...can anyone give me info? The upper and lower links on the rtr are the same size plastic, on the kit upper is 5x75 mm and the lower is 4x80 mm steel turnbuckles. GPM is probably one size fits all, adjustable. Hopefully someone who has them will let you know. Personally I think aluminum is not a good idea for tie rods. Both my YXL's have steel turnbuckles and have had no issues. |

awesome! my 3 yo drives with me too ![]() upgraded steering bellcrank is a must. Dhawk is better IMO that HR for this part specifically. Motor mount, i dont trust plastic with this size motor. 1M weight diff oil in the rear was a MASSIVE upgrade. Beadlock wheels, I kept degluing tires ..... a real servo. I run a Savox 1270tg but something 400oz of torque or better |
