Not sure if it was mentioned here yet but has anyone seen the new truck from associated. Db8 nomad? Looks interesting although a tad smaller and only 4s ready.

Hardly a Yeti XL clone. It looks like they put a new body/cage on top of the old SC8, which isn't a bad thing. Basically a 1/8 "e-buggy" with some scale details which should make it much more durable than your average SCT. I'd say it's more comparable to an Arrma Senton, or Tekno SCT410 with their 1/8 scale drivetrain in a 1/10 short course sized package. I like it.

Not really an XL clone, I think one of the guys at Associated must have liked the Yeti, or seen pictures of the Slash 4x4 w/ Yeti cages, and forwarded the idea on. This pic isn't mine (damn Photobucket) but I really like my Slash 4x4 w/ Yeti cage. ![]() |
