What is the fastest motor for the yeti xl

I see other threads with a bunch of motors listed but Im just looking for the TOP 3 setups out there for it. My old man bought a XMAXX 8S and I keep up pretty well but I want him eating rocks lol

There is no right answer here. Kv/voltage/gearing/weight all play significant factors. I reckon a mamba monster X 2200 combo with 15 pinion on 6s would be all you ever need. I run that combo on 4s with an 18t pinion and it seems Atleast as mean as what my stock 8s xmaxx was before I put the mamba xlx in it.

I put an xmaxx 1600xl velineon motor and castle xlx esc on my yeti xl.....I have a 60t and I believe a 24t pinion if I'm not mistaken...this thing MOVES...I'm going the get the Robinson racing 3rd gen spur I was told about to make the car even faster with a smaller spur

Sounds good! Im runnunig 6s 11.1v so if you're running it on 4s and its at least the same as the stock xmaxx 8s I should be golden if I get that set up

Love your truck man!! My father is running the 8S Xmaxx I think your running the 6S setup. What wheels are those? ?

I run it on 6s but it's 8s capable...the wheels are the src crushers

With tbe momba monster and the castle.2200 motor on 6s mine can go faster then it can areodinamicly handle it leaves the ground around 55-60 mph even with alot of wait in the front right corner with throtle to spare how much faster can these things go if you can get it to go faster than 60mph get it on camera and post it in the top speed section
