| Diff outdrives, same part number but different sizes?
Could use someone's help. May or someone has ran into this? My rear diff shredded one of it's output shafts into pieces. So I ordered new ones. My manual calls for part number AX31056. Finally showed up and I go to install my rebuilt diff when I realized they are far too long. The diff assembly will not fit into the axle housing at all. But the correct part number did get shipped to me. Am I missing something here?

AX31056 is for the front diff. For the rear you need AX31041
