Hi folks! Can we change YXL's complete rear axle with Super Baja Rey's rear axle? |

Good question, I previously measured the Yeti XL rear axle at around 355mm hex to hex. Only problem is that the Losi also uses 20mm hexes.

Losi Super Baja Rey Changing the hex is easy since it has 8mm axles according to the bearing size. Why they did 20mm? Who knows. | |

You might want to check gearing as well. Yeti XL diff ring gear/pinion are 32T/11T front&Back, and if you don't find similar ratio gears that fit in the LBR rear axle you would have a difference in rotation speed between front and rear tires. Sorry but couldn't find any info what gears Super Baja rey has in rear housing. |
