| Beadlocks
Have been searching the market for beadlocks the last couple of weeks, and the ultimate problem with beadlocks is the weight. then I stumbled across 3.8 8 HOLE BEADLOCK WHEEL | They have the lowest weight of all the beadlocks out there and pulled the tricker so the should arrive within a week or 2 more picks coming |

Nice. Didn't know they were popular enough for other patterns. 8 hole looks good. No matter how you shake it they are still heavy. |

| Re: Beadlocks Looks awesome. Q? What tool did you use to tighten up the hex? I see they are Traxaas. Not a whole lot of room for a standard hex wrench.

I had to turn a socket down to fit but some manufacturers sell thin walled sockets. It looks like the hub is mounted to a 17mm hex first then the fasteners attach the wheel to the hub .

Motorwerx suggested the same thing. Put the hex together and then put 32 bolts in to put your wheels on. Doable but stupid. The Traxxas hex has the divot thing so a multipoint fingered thingymabob socket would work but you would have to make it and then be strong enough. Just thought there would be an easy tool for an easy task. | |
