Hey all thanks a bunch for all the info and tips I get here it is invaluable! I am in this same spot I will switch out the rear axle next... I like the looks of the rc4wd model much better but strength and function will be the deciding factor. I am not super worried about the pinion issues I have done both the Bhb mod and the 3 bearing..is there any limitations to each axle/design and what would you choice/opinions be? Thanks a bunch for time and thoughts all.

I have HR and Vanquish (discontinued) in my other 2ns XL Super happy with both. Both have bigger pinion bearing and not a single problem with either. Only downside I can think of with HR is that it doesn't take spiral gears without BHB mod. I've heard someone say rc4wd would take both straight and spiral gears, I have my doubts though |
