Drive shaft direction

We are building two Yeti XL trucks.

We noticed that each of our trucks has a ring gear in backwards in one of the diffs.

The problem is one spins the drive shaft clockwise when the front wheels go forward, and the other spins the shaft counter-clockwise when the front wheels go forward.

Obviously the rear is the clear choice to swap the ring around due to the easy access vs. the front.

We are hoping someone can confirm what direction drive shaft spins when the ring gears are installed per the manual.

This will help us greatly as we won't have to crack diffs to find out what is what.

**EDIT*** easier fix than I thought. I forgot the diffs aren't loaded with oil like our buggies. For anyone else .... the shaft turns counter clockwise when rings are installed correctly.

Another thought we had was simply swapping both rears to match the front and then address the directional issue via the Castle Field Link Card.

Does any see a reason not to take this approach?

Re: Drive shaft direction

If the front and rears spin the same way just swap it via the ESC.

Motor does not care which way it's spinning.

If this is what you were asking then looking down from the top the front Ring Gear is on the Left and the Rear Ring Gear is on the right.
