I did a search and combed a while, but couldn’t find anything specific to this. Anyone run 2 separate 5s batts wired in parallel? I think it could be a great half way point in voltage between 4s and 6s. |

Yep I run 5S but I don't use the two side pods. I have the batts mounted across the frame over the steering servo. I run a 4AH 5S for outright speed or a 10AH 4S for long runtime fun ![]() - John. |

Awesome. I found 3ah’s that fit in the pods for 5s. So if in parallel I’ll have 6ah capacity with the two of them. Then I’ll also get two 4ah’s to also run in parallel in an even higher ah rating for longer times. Two 4ah’s in parallel seem much more common from what I’ve read. But, anyone running 5s, wether it’s one batt or two seems more rare from what I’ve seen.

I'm a new Yeti XL owner and ended up on 5s pretty quickly. I had ordered a set of 4s, then decided I wanted 6s, started breaking stuff, then just used one 2s and 3s and really liked it, and I have 2 sets so it's awesome!
