Thinking of dropping in a motor and esc to run 4s. Has anyone done this and any ideas on how to mod the battery tray?

I'm building a kit using the Tekin RX8/Pro4HD 3000kv combo and I'm gonna run 4s. Max amps has a 4s 5450 pack that will fit perfect.

In the manual the batt tray dimensions are there. 145x52x35 or something close.
Hobbyking has a battery finder menu.
Select the appropriate dimensions and buy the battery.
I've looked for 4s and there are a bunch. Will fit perfect and be less than $50
40c rating or above.

Something like this?

RX8/T8 and a big ole 4S pack. It required a bit of modification on the stock box.

Most are under 4000mah and one 4250mah on hobbyking that will fit in stock location. I need 5000+ for the distance I run.

ZIPPY Flightmax 5000mAh 4S1P 45C (AR Warehouse)

Turnigy 5000mAh 4S 35C Lipo Pack (AR Warehouse)

ZIPPY Flightmax 4500mAh 4S1P 45C (AR Warehouse)

You may not need the MAH you think you need. Increased voltage = increased runtimes. Put simply.

EDIT:
Slightly less amperage. 125 amp

I love the Yeti bodies! So I went wit a LST chassis and built a carbon top and installed a summit transmission. Now to work on it is a snap. 4 bolts and ether diff comes out pull 4 more and the trans and motor come out. I love the over sized shocks and the bomb proof diffs!
WHAT I DON'T LIKE IS THE SHORT 14.2 WHEELBASE!
My next mod is to use the wheel CVD's as dive shafts and make it a 18'' wheel base and use the Yeti XL body and the 1/5 beadlock wheels.

So a few things:

#1 - This thread is 4 years old.
#2 - You're new but twissted killed so many threads with his need to post how whatever random creation he built was better than a completely unrelated vehicle. That was a trip down memory lane.
#3 - Your take is wrong, so I corrected it.

Designed for 2s, will be ok on 3s, but be prepared to (st)rip a decent amount of parts on 4s. Or the Yeti itself.
