Default Yeti vs. Exo size comparion photos

So I just picked up my Yeti and I thought people would want to see it next to my EXO for comparison in ground clearance, length and width.

I can also say that an SMC 6500 3s just sneaks in with the battery strap in its highest position. Should give me plenty of time bashing or trailing.

What batteries are you running and how well do they run with the stock setup?

Right now I'm running one of these SMC 3S 6500mAh batteries. The fit is nearly perfect with the battery strap in the top position.

I haven't had a chance to run it for more than a few minutes so I can't comment on temps but I was happy with its torque and speed out of the box. Almost as fast as my EXO which is running a Castle MMP and 3800kv motor. I'll be out enjoying both later today.

Cool, be sure to get some pictures

Also if you run on it a lot see how hot it gets and how long it last in they yeti. Might look into picking up the same battery.

The traxxas 2s lipo (soft) 7600 length will fit tight but fits. 155mm I think 3s traxxas 8400 would fit too I believe 2s gets about 19mph

Wow that custom EXO is crazy. It throws off the scale though since it already has the AR60 axles and bigger tires. I like what you did to it though. It does help highlight just how much width the SLW style hubs add on the back.

I can also confirm that these SPC 8200 2s batteries fit the Yeti and gave me plenty of run time.

I'm finding that I like 3s for general bashing and 2s for trail type stuff because low speed trigger control seems far better with 2s. I didn't find I really wanted or needed the extra speed and power on the trail. I could still bounce up over rocks and stumps fine. In fact I got up and over a few things the other two guys couldn't. Then again they beat me up on technical rock stuff.

..
Like them both. There IS no comparison. Just different breeds. And that is all.
