Default 2 speed gearbox?

Anyone have any info on when we'll see the option to buy/fit the low speed gearing??

Really hoping its not going to fall into the same category as the xr10 cutting brake.

Cheers

Can we just forget the stock tranny and use a super shafty tranny by just putting new mointing holes n chassis? Haven't seen any low gear options yet

Same here, It was one of the reasons I bought it! There is no single gear ratio that will do what I want, more speed would be great in high gear, but the ability to low speed crawl is awesome. I suppose they just don't want the drama the twin hammers had

Also, Has anyone set up dual shocks in the rear? with the stock ones in front you would need 140mm ones behind, which I cant seem to find?

I have not asked about the availability of these parts for testing. I am not a 2-speed fan. I am a firm believer in a good brushless system gives me everything I need.

However I will install the 2 speed when available. I'll test it out and see what I can do with it. But in the end, I'll likely opt to stay with a single speed for reliability.

Yep and if it came with a sensored system then having the lower gearing option wouldnt be of a concern... however as a bash rig i had no plan to toss in another BL system for low speed control and just opt for the 2speed (yes never as good as a sensored system but hopefully a bit better down low) I also think many guys buying the yeti didnt plan on being expected to cough up the added expense of adding a sensored BL system.

Dont get me wrong, i could just toss in one of my good sensored systems and call it a day but im keen to see if axial nailed a good 2speed too

Just curious how much would the er 2 speed (servo?) Cost?

IMO it can't cost too much because you have to account for low end sensored motors.

I definitely see the appeal for people, just personally it's not something I see beneficial for me. But I run a totally different power system.

I'm interested to see the setup and see how it works.

The 2 speed will consist of much more than a servo. And I don't see what the cost has to do with the motors... ???

Stock system works fine at low speed. I don't get why everyone thinks it's just just because it's not sensored. I did a 2 mile trail ride Saturday with mine at walking pace with a bunch of 1.9 trucks and never had it cog once. I was quite impressed actually. That's with the stock pinion/spur.
