Default jeeper_05's way back into the hobby...My Yeti

After about a year and a half of losing all interest in everything in life, I am finally making my way back into building. Thanks to a buddy that got me back interested! This car is just for something to beat on while I get my other scalers back up and running/updated. A group of us locals plan on keeping them fairly stock other than lights, and rolling stock for now...FOR NOW...

Specs...
VP Method 105's
C.I. CC
U4 Tires
Carter Fab 1" Cans
Locked Up Hardware
.225 front, .600 rear VP Hubs
VP 12mm locking Hex
VP Front links, and rear upper links
Freq-e-designs custom skinz
Axial Simple LED
Heyok U4 Rear Lights
Vanquish Q-Series Lights
Rear Vanquish Currie with VP Locker and HD 43/13 Gears
43/13 HD Gears in front with Ofna 50k Diff lock fluid

In transit... VP Steering rack

Welcome back to a great hobby. Time away did not take anything away from your painting skills. Looks great.

I can't claim to have painted this, although it is a fairly simple paint job. I left the graphics to Neal at Freq-e-designs for Skinz...

This is one of my Fav body wraps too..
I'ld do one like it but since ya already done, I'll do one to match my Crawler.
Surprisingly, they had a good match..

What can ya tell me about the wrap?
I ordered one and wondering if I need a fresh body to work with.
How does the wrap go one?
Do you wet down the body first?
Anything else I should know?

Start with the hood piece first, line up the piece inside the scoop, then work your way out towards the edges. You can use water, but I have done enough that I don't anymore. Just take your time and smooth as you lay it down not after you lay it down...

Glad to see you back in the swing Scott, I talked to your dad awhile back and he said things were looking up a good bit at that point.

You and Justin may have the new rigs but my solid rear exo aka ghettoyeti will give you girls a run for your money.

Welcome back and Nice Rollbak cover! Just kidding, well not really. The Yeti color scheme, wheels and tires make it look great. Super sharp!
