Drive shaft advice

Guys some quick advice please - will either of these shafts fit the Yeti?

Is there any general advice or thoughts on this topic you could share with me, ie what to look for in these replacements?

Thanks in advance!

This will work (been running mine for some time, not a single issue): MIP AXIAL YETI rear drive shaft - Super Shafty

Or this one is supposed to work too: CKRC Crawlers, RC Rock Crawlers

Let me add that the Junfac 155mm (longest) is also too short for comfort. Do-not-buy.

MIP SCX10 female end and the male end for a Traxxas Summit is what I have on mine. The part numbers are in my build thread.

Brilliant, thanks for the info guys.

What length do I need to look for exactly? Options here in the UK are very limited, I'd love a MIP one but they're just not available here.

I know SuperShafty will ship to the UK. You might have to email them to get that done, but should be easy.

Looks like they're out of stock at the moment. I'll have a look around on other websites, as well as trying to find some dimentions.

Thanks

I'm using the 4 1/8" male bone.

I tried the Summit 4 1/2" and it was too long, I could not mount the assembled shaft with the standard short ends at all. So I had a brilliant idea that I'd just cut 3/8" off the shaft, duh, and that worked out like crap, I didn't have any engagement of the splines.

IDK how folks are making that Summit bone work.

I'm not sure how your not. Not being a smart ass but there's plenty of room for that setup to work.

My bad, I just went through my workbench trash can like an idiot because this bothered me and to my surprise I had purchased the E-revo bone. It must be longer than the Summit cause it would not fit when assembled.

Sorry for the mis-info.

This is the male boner size that fits perfect:

Longer bottoms out. Shorter falls out.
