time to upgrade to full HD gearing. I was lucky as the previous owner got 90% of the drivetrain bomb proofed already. reminds me I have a VP version 1 axle housing with STRC lockouts and diff cover to toss up for sale. (had to mention in yet thread to give you all fair shot first) and yes magic, im lazy as all get out haha I might try the front gear flop tonight or tomorrow. haven't made it to the local hobby shop yet for the 1 million CST for the diff. oh! I can toss my SSD knuckles on while im at it! okay time to dirty the kitchen table again! if you don't hear from me for a while its because my wife killed me. thanks magic. it was your fault. lmao *okay, done! Front gear flipped, wires swapped. Also did the ssd knuckles while i had the front end exploded. And found out its true... Ssd cause some serious toe in. I was like eh, no prob i have upgraded adjustable links! Ehhhhh well, they are already shortest adjustment. So, i either need new links, shorter rod ends, or... yeah. So much toe in. Oh and i got some losi 100,000 cs diff oil. But... didnt put it in. When i had it apart, spinning the diff it already felt like it had some pretty thick fluid in it. Plus my wife made tacos and my family had to eat with a yeti all sprawled out in pieces on the table. Mmmm... crock pot chicken tacos... So yeah, today gearing got fixed. Ssd knuckles. And got some fuel tube for the cell. Next time: links... maybe some lights? Oh, and! Aaaannnd! My front arm hinge pins are about as straight as richard simmons. Ordered robinson trans gear set and a HH 3500 puller pro and mamba monster esc. I decided to run it even though the gears are in bad shape and bent the front outer A-arm pins. Guess it is time to start the bulletproof process before the new power plant goes in. |

You talking about the arm hinge pins? Yup thats a known weakness and i need to do the beef mod myself. Rpm arms with better bolts, bore out the arms and sleeve it with a tube of unknown to me origins lol But after that, pretty much bomb proof. I need friggin tie rods. Pretty sure mine are traxxas. Need to measure and order the next size down. Surprisingly, the traxxas rods look scale! Or? Can anyome tell me disadvantage of the full aluminum links from chinese types? Will post a pic to show what i mean... reminds me of the links i have run on my 1:1 drift cars. These little guys... obviously i wouldnt run the candy colored ones. Maybe gunmetal. Aluminium is too weak for links they will bent Alternative to the Traxxas u can get the axial org links made of steel. Org they are 55mm and 60mm. |

I understand about the aluminium bending... but these look AWESOME! for 1/10 RC car #STR235S, ,(STR235S) by Active Hobby Aluminum Pillow Ball Turnbuckle Tie Rod L 34-68mm 2pcs Silver I mean, it doesn't get any more scale than that. exactly like the links used on the 1:1 stuff! not sure about length of this particular set, but... good to know they are out there! curious why I don't see these made of titanium for actual scale rig builds? you would think there would be a pretty large market for this, with the recent boom in scale detail stuff. |

Thanks for the heads up on breaking more stuff. Not sure driving it full throttle is gonna happen often but boy does it fly. Straightened the a arm pin and going to put in some reinforcement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Didn't exactly do anything with or to the yeti, just looked thru both the standard kit and trophy truck kit manuals to see what was different because I'm looking to convert my yeti to a tt. Not including body and wheels/tires Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

so that's the only difference? seems about right. cage, bumper... I suppose the spare holder is different due to the new rear cage shape. hmmm... tempting. only if I could find that awesome 79 ford body that poohsad is running. *cough* pansy but seriously just adjust your driving style. slow is fast. and those diff covers pop off all the time. I might know somebody selling a whole vanquish AR60 with STRC cover...? just, you know... some guy. I still haven't fixed my toe rod predicament. nor have I mounted the radiator. weekend was taken up by a dog peeing from his butt all weekend and using a rug doctor on the whole house, boy got stung by a bee and ER visit just in case of allergy (he's fine) soooo... yeah no yeti progress. maybe this weekend will be better. |

From my notes, to add to your list: - Rear springs; TT kit includes AX31297 2.25 lbs/in (green dot) and AX30216 2.78 lbs/in (yellow)* - body posts f&r AX31307 You don't need the cage if you use the 31307 alternate rear post, just don't cut the back part of the body open.

http://www.jconcepts.net/support/020...nger-f250-body I just cut out the rear area and with a little trimming and massaging the lower mounts, the Yeti TT cage fits like a glove. I really recommend doing a short wheelbase conversion if you're doing a trophy truck. You'll have a much wider choice of bodies and tires. Basically a Slash with realistic suspension that handles like a coked up pig. Tremendous fun to drive. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

My first upgrade for my score TT showed upalmost a week early. MIP rear driveshaft. I decided my first upgrade part besides my mudflaps to be a one time purchase.

Ordered the stock yeti score bumper and rear cage section plus a body to convert my yeti to a score. I'll deal with the suspension and wheels once it gets here since I have scte and slash offset wheels already Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
