Soooo... yea. Anyone recommend an AR60 axle shaft that can hold up to the Beast mode power?

What did I do?
Well not much lately. Went for a trail run this evening. Then came home and swapped shock oil and springs.

Creeperbob Made some TI axles. He has it on sale here some times also.
As i see in the Pic you are using the plastic hubs, changing to pin mounted hubs (gpm, lattice Innovation) may help also. I'm still running the first axle set of my SSD wide Diamond, never bend or broke.

Bob's Ti axles are slick. I eventually broke a set at the drive pin after 6 months of 3-4 day a week abuse on 3s. Bought another set.

I hit a rock, hidden in tall grass, head on, full speed at 3S. Kaboom! Center drive shaft bent, but no other damage. I'll bend it back and order a new one as well. Does anyone know if there's a MIP replacement? Axial part number is AX31139, and I can't find any good info on MIP alternatives.

Indeed it sucks, but what I did was pretty much the equivalent of hitting a brick wall at full throttle, so I guess I should count myself lucky. 25$ for a new shaft in Sweden, and a week or so of waiting. It could have been a lot worse.

I purchased two new sets of the AX30395 38/13 gears to replace the crap stock gears. I’m on my third set of stock gears in the rear and the front finally wore out. I would’ve upgraded sooner, but I had spare cheap gears out of my Bomber to use up first.

I rebuilt the front diff last night with a Dlux bulkhead, Axial 38/13 HD gears, fast Eddie bearings, and fresh 500K fluid. I made a point to really pack the 500 K fluid in there including under the side gears. On a quick test the diff performs well, at slow speeds one front tire will sit against an obstacle but a blip of throttle and it pulls well. One of the output o rings was wasted, but at didn’t have a replacement and that 500K fluid doesn’t seem to run out much.

Next will be rebuilding the rear axle with a Dlux housing, HD gears, aluminum beef tubes, etc. I need to buy a new spool and some HD axles. I was looking at the SSD wide axle set as I keep bending the short side axle on the stock setup.

Fitted a SRT 23kg WP servo, alloy horn and changed the rod ends on the steering link to SSD ones with metal pivot balls
