| Cleaning question from a noob
I'm a noob to modern RC stuff - and my Yeti seems to find its way into many wonderful mudholes. How do you guys clean the muck out of the chassis? I've heard soaking with Simple Green then hosing out, I've heard about using electrical cleaner (won't that attack the plastic?), and the typical "just remove all the electronics and scrub" - like I have time for that. Any tips & tricks from the experienced mudders here? |

As long as you kept it water proof just hose off the big junk and then spray it with Simple Green & hose it again. Don't use electrical/ contact cleaner it will mess with plastic & rubber. Go to LHS and get "Nitro Blast" to finish things off, it doesn't mess with plastics. This works for me, others may have a different method/opinion and will chime in. |

spray your truck with mooslick or pam cooking spray before mudding. im sure there has to be something made for something like dirtbikes that does something similar. i do that (i use mooslick) then when cleaning hose the big stuff off, then spray with simple green and use a vegetable brush before rinsing it off again. |

Mine is not waterproof so I use a hose pipe very lightly in the areas away from the electronics to spray the mud off after I remove the body and wheels. I then use an air compressor to air dry everything, the bearings are not a big fan of getting mud and water in them. I then use a couple damp towels to finish the clean up, better safe than sorry IMO.

Deep Cleaning the Yeti (Mud or lots of heavy dirt)
