Here are a few I have used. GCM metal heads are tough as nails- GCM Racing WebStore-2015 - Yeti A-13 Rear Axle Dlux housings are awesome too, they have a larger bearing mod. DLUX FAB | products Add some beef tubes to these and they are super strong. |

Both of Cranks options are excellent choices. I have a Currie and love it. RPP Hobby has the Curries in stock BTW.

I don't have big power but i have the Currie Wraith Rockjoc on mine and so far it has been flawless. I really like the GCM's though and if mine didn't have the Currie when i bought it, GCM for sure.

From what I saw on GCM web site, they have the big bearing option for an extra 9 bucks. Nice to have! I'll check their way for my next upgrade!!!

I went with the GCM centered diff with the big bearing, Creeperbob ti shafts, and the FI spool. I had broken the stock housing jumping and landing hard, seems to be a pretty bulletproof setup now, and also flys a little flatter due to the extra weight out back. I did have to file the axle tangs to get a perfect fit with the FI spool but otherwise no modification required. Last edited by npcaldwell; 12-20-2014 at 03:45 PM. |
