I'm looking at the savox 1210 sg but was wondering if it's too tall? Starting to collect needed stuff for the yeti kit

Definately some type of steering upgrade. Im running the VP rack and posts. I also stacked a couple washers under the servo saver spring. Eventually you'll want to upgrade everything between the front tires. Including the front tires. Besides the steering, the stock plastic hubs are crap. Leave em in the bag and order some proper hexes and hubs. Also, invest in a few extra inner hinge screws for the a arms. That should be a good enough start. This truck is really just a good base... I've figured out another upgrade I "need" after each pack. |

Ive been running a savox in my scx10 for over a year with no problems whatsoever. That said, a 7945 is actually on my yeti list. Heard nothing but good things. |

I plan on running 3s after I beef it up a little, for now I have a couple 2s to get used to the feel of the truck! Il be running an mmp and hobby wing 4 pole, should be interesting finding a good throttle curve and drag brake setting |

Nice score on the discount 7954. For those of us that aren't so lucky, can anyone recommend a more budget friendly servo for the yeti that is an upgrade over the RTR offering?

I like the look of this one, although I've not checked dimensions yet. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...g_0_14sec.html |

And on checking dimensions they appear very similar. If you do get something like this, let us know how it goes.

| Yeti servo ?
It certainly is, it's a Lunsford 4x30mm titanium turnbuckle that I picked up from amain.com. The rod ends are traxxas revo, can't remember the part number but can dig it out if you need it.
