I am quite shocked with that response. VP must have had a policy change... I broke a knuckle once and they replaced it for me free, no questions asked. I just had to send the failed part back to them.

Who did you speak with?

I've been in contact with Rob. After a few emails back and forth and me saying that I found the response highly disappointing, he finally asked for my address.

Even after him asking me for my address, I still find it disappointing that it had to get to that point. Hopefully, this is a one time situation, as I truly love their products... just have a bad taste in my mouth after this one.

Hi Joel
I asked for your address yesterday so I can send you the part you replied at 4:39 yesterday with the info and we are checking now for the part. Dan W. also told you we would take care of it. there was some communication that didn't get to me as fast as it should have but we have it in the works now.

That's the kind of customer service we're all used to. Nice going VP!

While the customer service is good, the issue seems to remain in the design of the part......

I do think there are adjustments that need to be made here. With the two screws at the top and nothing supporting the bottom of the link mount, there's a good amount of pressure on that middle section where the piece bent. I do think since this was made for the Wraith, it wasn't as critical, but on the yeti, it may not be as strong as one would hope.

As for the left link mount, this doesn't seem to be an issue as there is support on the top and bottom.

I agree, designed for the Wraith this has not been an issue at least not a public one. Not sure it warrants a new design but who knows what VP will do.

I do know that the centered Currie axle eliminates this issue. I'm a firm believer that a center drive line is necessary for the Yeti and not because of the link mount problem.

Everything is listed on ebay, broken up from the roller, and individual electronics. Will be listed in the classifieds here when the admins get around to it. Let me know if anyone has any questions.

My only question is why? It was such a nice rig.
