Those Carter Fab Panels look so good. Really wish they would be available again soon!

UCFab trailing arms installed. This particular one has counter-sunk cuts. Filled the remaining holes with some left over VP screws for my Wraith build.

Arms and wheels match up nicely. I also love the heft of these things.

Thank you UCFab/DLUX for the most excellent product!

Heck yeah man, those look great! Your pinion angle is a little funky though. Have you tried revo ends on one or both sides of your upper links to flatten that out a bit?

Pinion angle does look rotated too far back.

I may be wrong but it looks like you may have used the longer Jato rod ends on both sides of the links and I believe VP recommends one side only with the Currie axle.

You guys are right, I used jato rod ends on both ends of the upper links. Should I replace the ones tied to the axle with revo ends ?

To be honest it shouldn't matter. The chassis side of the upper links may be a tad easier.

As usual, a big thanks to the RCC community for straightening out my errors. Swapped the Jato rod ends on one end back to the Revo rod ends. Truthfully, this being my first solid axle setup, I had no clue what pinion angle was. From what I can tell, fixing this should reduce stress on the drivetrain?

On another note, my collection of DLUX stickers is ever growing:

I've also come to the conclusion that the VP Method 105 wheels are not suitable for my Yeti. From the beginning I imagined this as a U4 themed racer/basher. So keeping things fast and durable were key. However, in this case, I think the wheels are just too heavy for my application. With that said, I've ordered in Crawler Innovations wheels, CI foams, and Ottsix Voodoo wheels (Gold)

The Method 105 will find a good home on my eventual Wraith Build...I already have all the axles built up.

Good choice if bashing & racing are what you'll mostly be doing.

I have both sets of wheels you mentioned, I use the CI 6 bolts for U4 racing and the Methods when we Trail Run & Crawl.

Crawler Innovations stuff. Lots of extras, and the bubble gum is always appreciated.

I will be using tried and true AKA glue to hold them together. They have held on well through 5S and 6S abuse on my 1/8 monster trucks.

Did some mock up and ran into a snag. The 1.5" CI wheels are too wide, which causes the inner rim to rub on the knuckle. As I don't want to dremel 4 wheels and potentially ruin the balance, I'll settle for wider slw hubs.

I also removed the TBone racing a-arm skids as they also interfere with the CI wheels.

Will likely place the a-arm skids and 225/725 slw hubs for sale.

1st impressions on CI wheels is positive. Fitment issues are an easy fix and they are light. Should do well with the voodoo u4 tires.

Have you tried the 6 Bolts in the 1" size?

I originally ordered the 1" wheels, but changed my mind and asked Tyler to switch to 1.5 wheels, because I wanted to go with the wider wheels for the extra support. The wheels, foam, and tire combination look very promising, and I'm confident that I found the right combination of weight, traction, and support. Just need to get the wider SLW hubs, and I'm golden.

Rockwolf, thank for the kind words! I can't wait till the snow starts to go away and I can get some real dirt on this sonofabitch!

Yep, My dad had to go to .600 slw's to get the 1.5's to fit. I think I have .350's on my 1" and have room to spare.
