Time to pack it up for the evening. Have to entertain company and such. But I am getting that light at the end of the tunnel kind of feeling! I have a bunch of wire clean up to do, and a few things left to bolt together, but this baby is close! |

I'm jealous of that rear truss, man. Sending my DLux uppers back for the longer set and Erik probably order a truss at the same time.

Company just arrived, by the time they leave all the air bubbles will be out of the shocks! I am going to try 45 front, 30 rear. I also found my old xr10 shocks, so I'll be using the aluminum caps from them |

The stock rims do not fit the Dlux knuckes, I need to wait for my glue on the back side DCW's. But I at least had to make sure that all the electronics worked before getting the cage and body connected. So I mounted some comp wheels reversed. Managed to flip it a couple times trying to turn too fast on very course asphalt! Very fun rig! Tomorrow I'll work on getting everything wrapped up. |

They also won't work with the Carter Fab True 1" cans installed in the VP Method wheels, stock VP cans are fine though. Looking good man, I know you can't wait to get this thing out and give it hell! |

I can say this with confidence though, the diff works great! Amd tonight was by far the fastest these Sedona's have ever gone. By about 4 fold! | |

The fun was short lived... Towards the end of my 2nd pack of mixed asphalt, grass, figure 8's with Camo chasing, launching off a little plastic ramp, and donuts in the grass for the neighborhood kids, an e-clip in the diff let go, they were pinched tight too with needle nose after installing. I can't find the output anywhere... But at least the body looks nice! I spent an hour looking for the output, it is now one with any part of 300 sq. ft. of grass between 3 lots... I'm done with this thing for the weekend, time to go have a beer and spend some time with my dog who has been ignored all week |

That sucks losing the output, i guess its the output going to the universals in the front? Body does look sweet tho, love the color combo!

Yeah, the output going from the diff to the universals. The wife and kid are gone for the weekend so I'm enjoying some quality time with the dog. I may work on getting the wraith back together for my son later.

Yup....now you know what I've been going through the last couple weeks with my Yeti. Sucks, though. Like you, my Wraith has been a bit ignored, too. Just needs the front bumper reinstalled. Was going to install the DMG bumper I bought months ago, but decided it needs light tabs. |

I wish I could fine the output cup. I have the spool and could be back up and running. When I take Camo for a walk I'll check the lawn with a flashlight and hopefully find it better than in daylight.

| Re: DLUX Swamp Squatch I did that for an hour during daylight with no luck. Just did another hour with a flashlight, no dice. So I ordered some ofna outdrive cups... With my luck I'll find it when I mow the lawn and my mulching mower picks it up and imbeds it in my shin. lol Last edited by DickyT; 01-31-2015 at 06:29 PM. |

With the rig currently broken, I decided to tackle the rear lights before the super bowl pre game starts. I cut the buckets out of the yeti rear light mount, removed the top two screws from the gear head lights and sanded it flat. Then epoxied it into the light hood that came with the yeti kit. I have it drying now with some weight on in. |

That looks great! I've been eyeing that Gear Head rear bar but didn't want to lose the factory surround. You just solved that problem! Did the plastic warp or bow any due to the size of the lightbar?

| Re: DLUX Swamp Squatch Not after removing the top screws of the light bar and sanding everythjng to fit. Trimming on both pieces was needed. I used a new #11 blade to carefully cut the stock buckets out. Then a dremel sanding drum at about 8000 rpm and light touches.

| Re: DLUX Swamp Squatch I had to complly remove the mounts from the gear head bar, so I covered the ends with some shoe goo to seal it back up. |
