About to pull the trigger on tires for the yEDi and need opinions on which ones to go with? Toss up between Voodoo U4 Silvers and Pitbull RBIIs. Will run CI Deuces Wild foams either way. Suggestions and reasoning. Will be mainly for bashing and some trail use. |

For bashing and trail use it will not matter. Pick the one you like the tread pattern of the best and enjoy them!

I have ran and running both.. I favor the RB2's for your use and speed.. And mainly as a all around tire. The doo's took the lead for rock, in the manner that they seem to crawl rock like a comp tires tire would.. I'll probably get the 2.2 Growler's next, as I like the look of them, to test against the other two's abilities.. |

I'm in the same boat. I like the look and the size of the RB2 but the performance of the voodoo u4 intrigues me. My use will be bashing, trail and eventual comps. |

No comps for me. At least not with the yEDi. Don't really have time for comps anyway.

I agree that the RBII's are probably your best option for an all around tire but personally, I felt they wanted to fold under a bit while cornering at speed. Even with DW tall foams. I swapped out to a narrower slightly stiffer tire with the same foams and had a pretty noticeable change while turning. They probably won't do as well on the rocks though.

Stock Yeti Vangaurd system on 3S Pitbull RBII's w/ DW foams I have only run them crawling on my Wraith and would not trade them for anything. I haven't tried all brands like some but i am super happy with them. Enough so that i will try them on the Yeti down the road. Voodoo Golds w/ DW foams I currently have these and about 20 packs through them. I run on High Desert terrain, sand washes and ground up clay powder (Southern California). Maybe 5% of the time i am in the rocks but these have barely shown any wear. Stupid grippy on the rocks and only spin out when i overdrive for my skill level. A very confidence inspiring tire that holds a line and wears extremely well IMO. |
