Please help with my transmission guys!!!!!

So some of you guys may have seen my build thread. Well this is my first build so I may have made some mistakes. I've checked and double checked things but today on my first real good bash session after about 20 minutes I had some transmission carnage. It was making a gawd awful noise. I took her home and ripped her down right away. So I'm not good with technical terms but one of the gears on the tranny was half rounded off. I think I may have forgot to put a bearing in one end of the tranny next to the gear. Anyway I would like to order better replacements and anything else I may need or should do while it's down and out. I will post pics. I also now have a hole in my tranny case and will be looking for suggestions on that as well. Thank you guys in advance!

Also could you guys give me recommendations as far as what gears to replace them with as far as tooth count or should I keep it stock?

The stock gears should work fine but I'm sure some Robinson racing gears will be better. Some grease on the transmission will make it last longer as well.

I was half tempted to apply grease in there but the manual didn't say so. I should have went with my gut! Why don't they want grease in there??

I found the instructions pretty vague but i did slap grease in there. So far ive had no tranny related issues.

The Axial gears work just fine when all the bearings are in the tranny, no matter what gears you would have had that would of happened no matter what with the tranny not being built correctly. I'd get new gears and some Fast Eddy bearings and put it back together with grease this time around and you'll be good to go.
