Thumbs up Have you bent your front Universals?

For anyone who has bent their universal (not dog bones) shafts, can you please contact Axial Customer Support at 877-64-AXIAL (877-642-9425) to start a case?

Gbean, I believe there is an issue with the Universals for the Yeti and I am trying to help Hobbico CS compile enough information to have it looked into from the Manufacturer.

I fear that folks who bend them will think it is part of the hobby and simply replace them at their cost. The more folks who call into customer support and report the issue, the easier it will be to have it looked at as a potential problem to research.

I bent one and the other one the end ripped completely off. So instead of continually replacing the universals, I ordered the blue monkey upgrade. Now I need to sell my axial font locker. Do they have a Email?

This issue has been identified by Axial customer support and they are working to resolve this issue. Need your help by reporting it to them.

SteveC6R, why wouldn't you reach out to axial after the first set was damaged so quick? After the 2nd set I would have been suspect of flaws....doubt you'll get refunds, that error in judgement is on you. Nevertheless less, wouldn't hurt to call and discuss the "junky bastards".

Yes they have an email but, you're better off calling. Check the website for email contact information

I applaud you for your effort, I hope Axial does something to remedy the problem.

But your fooling yourself if you don't think they haven't been aware of this problem for quite sometime. They have reps here on RCC that browse the forums, how do you think the Yeti came to be in the first place? A large number of people were wanting a IFS rig and Axial answered the call. I have had my Yeti since they released last August and noted the issue with the universals in my build thread and my guide way back then and so have several others. The reason I've bought so many sets is that there wasn't another option at the time.

Like I said, I think your doing a good thing, the more people that bitch the more they might listen.

Calling isn't an option for us outside of the US. I've bent a set of unis, and am now running the GPM versions which are shorter.

Emailing them won't get you anywhere. In my experience at least.

Excellent, thank you. Do that and I'll email him/her ASAP.

As per the above, I've emailed Axial support twice before and have simply been blanked
