| $200.00 in upgrades just spent and it broke again...
i just did a round of upgrades on my rtr yeti and i decided to take it out for a spin on 3s. i bought: strc steering arms and c hubs strc rear lock outs rpm front arms front and rear hardened ring and pinions beef tubes kbess limiting straps the 1st run after upgrades the buggy held up. 2nd run i went out and hit border (landscaping bricks) of the flower garden not even close to full speed and snapped the steering rack. ive hit that same border with other bashers and never had a problem. oh well i guess. just a bit frustrating. |

Yup! There fun to work on. If that is what your into. I like to build but not because it breaks! The Best part about the Yeti's to me is the buggy bodies that they come with. I like to put the bodies on things that I have built. Maybe this is something that you could try.

Bricks > RCs. More steering, less throttle.

Heck my last trip to my lhs cost $170 with another $250 order coming on Friday. Every now and again I watch 1:1 muddin to remind me how much more that cost, it helps a little but it reminds me of how much fun 1:1 was as well. If I could still wrench I'd probably still be out there, now I'd be more worried about me breaking then the truck. |

My next build is going to be the end all of high end bomb proof rc's. It's not small but will do all the off-road stuff with out breaking and is easy to clean and maintain. I have high hopes! It will have 500.00 in Titanium from TecFlex and than there is the LUNSFORD TITANIUM MONSTER KIT and the HR stuff that will be added also. The Carbon fiber stuff I will cut and fab myself. | Re: $200.00 in upgrades just spent and it broke again... I have bought many parts to replace parts that haven't broken yet. Some get installed and some just hang on my shop peg board. It is nice to have some pieces around that aren't all scratched up |

Hard to be too upset, you didn't break anything you upgraded.

All the more reason to upgrade as you break....unless it was fluke damage.
