,Yup, something like that. Props to northkona. I was thinking it could bolt to a couple of the third member bolts and clamp around the snout.

I thought you just got that axle. How much do you drive? Damn that's a lot of rock rash.

I really like this axle. So tired of tearing up gears in my stocker but the VP stuff is too fat and busy looking. This is lean and clean and beefy all at the same time. Great work! I'll be scraping together coin for one

I did just get it. Ive only had it out 3 times. My boys both have Wraiths so we went out crawling yesterday. I really enjoy crawling with the Yeti because it puts me at a disadvantage and the kids love it when they pull a line that I cant

Most of that rash was from about an hour of rock play.

That's not a bad idea. I could just mill a bevel that follows the angle of the ring gear pocket.

On second thought, after looking at this again.. There wouldn't be enough meat in the bottom of the housing to take any material off..

I really like that plastic setup, I have some 3/4" nylon that would work.

Just another cad program. No refunds, no replacements. Just do it.

My temporary solution till ssd gets theirs to us. Used a nut bored out to slip fit over the snout and tig welded a 1/8 steel plate to it then added the gusset ears. I cross drilled the nut to save weight. Sorry for the crappy cell pics..

I have the vanquish one in silver and black and my buddy just got the SSD. I have to say I really like all the design features of the SSD. I would go with the SSD axle but they weren't around when I got my rear centered

Hoping inside 6 weeks...

It's a simple Delrin/acetol skid that will bolt on top of the lower half of the third member.

Absolutely perfect. Thanks for great industry support from a "newcomer". Great to have a new vendor to look for cool new products from.

This skid is the only thing holding me back from ordering up an SSD axle....glad to hear you are coming up with a solution to this axle "hang-up"!!!
Will this be an extra or come with the axle?
