What would be the benefit of running straight links compared to bent? I'd say if you're going to run straights, at least run the offset (bent) rod ends to eliminate any potential binding issues.

from what I can tell the bend in the yeti uppers don't help with rod end angle. Just for looks? I guess? lol

You're probably right. I don't get any binding but maybe I shoudl add the bent ends to my UCFab uppers.

The bent links are to clear the drive shaft. The one in the top photo has the SSD centered diff. Might clear with an offset diff and the skinny MIP too.

I've had straight links since the RTR came out. These are aluminum with aluminum set screws. Now replaced with Titanium links. No issues at all.

I am using Revo rod ends, the length will only work for the Dlux truss. Using the stock AR60 upper mount or even SSD axle you will be far too long to use the same length.

RC4WD has the bent rod ends . they are the same size as revo ends and are just as inexpensive work great for steering linkage.
Also traxxas 1/10 rod ends come long and short. And can be for any 1/10 or 1/8 traxxas model ..

I've put my Revo's in a hobby vise, used a heat gun and made my own bent ones.

Just finished !
M3 RC4WD bent rod ends ends with a 102mm lenght 6mm OD rod with a M3 thread at each end , instead of the traxxas straight rod ends with a 106mm lenght rod.
Works perfect and cheap !
