| Body lift posts? Custom Porsche body questions.
Hey all! Recently acquired a sweet semi-vintage 1/10 drift car Porsche body from my friend's garage and I am going to be mounting it on my Axial Yeti 1/10 kit. So far it's lining up well and going to be one sweet looking car when finished, but I need to extend my front body posts on the Yeti as well as find a way to attach the rear of the body to the Yeti chassis. I have not looked at using the full tube frame that attaches to the normal Yeti body as I'd like to swap between the two of them. The Porsche would be more for show! Anyone had luck using parts from the SCX10 plastic parts tree or the Yeti parts tree to extend posts? I need almost about half inch to an inch on the front posts and a method for the rear. The rear sits a good inch above the tube frame when it's in the position I want it to be for the posts. I could also buy another Yeti cage tubeset and attach it to the new body? Any advice appreciated, will also post pictures later if you want. Last edited by Ahod39; 11-10-2015 at 10:40 PM. |

That body will get destroyed if you are gonna bash your yeti. Sorry no idea on the body post situation.

No worries! It already has a small crack on the back from the previous owner. Just planning on drifting it around a bit, keeping the bashing to the stock Yeti body .
