Default Help! Wheel Fell Off

Finally got some decent weather to run my Yeti and 5 min a wheel fell off. All 6 screws came out.
I'm running Rockstars and Vanquish hubs. Hubs were installed brand new, this was their first run. Screws were from my Yeti screw kit, installed with blue locktite.
Any idea what I did wrong? I didn't use The Vanquish screws, could that have been the problem?
I want to make sure I do it up rights before I try to run it again.

How long did you let the loctite set before you ran it?

why would you not use the supplied vanquish screws? the ones that come with the kit are either a machine m3 screw or a coarse plastic screw. neither are the right size.. vanquish hubs require a 4-40 thread screw. ill be surprised if you didnt ruin the hub ripping the wrong size screw out of it.

The Vanquish hubs need 4-40 screws. You probably used M2.5 screws from the kit and although they will fit, they're about .4 mm too small. Get some 4-40x1/4" screws and you'll be fine.

VP slw hubs use 4-40 screws, not metric, so maybe that is your problem.

My Vanquish hubs never came with screws. When I went to the hobby shop, the owner sold me a Yeti stainless screw kit, said I had what I needed.
I'll order the 4-40 screws and install those.

The hubs do not include the screws, their wheel sets do.

The guy at your LHS was wrong. Typical... At least yours carries Axial stuff.

And no, slw hubs dont come with hardware. For most of my rc hardware, I like Locked Up. If they dont have it- Mr Metric.
