Default looking at a Yeti Score

Hey guys, not sure if Im using the right forum but Im looking at getting a yeti score after xmas. Are there any upgrades that it needs out of the box? It shouldn't see much abuse beyond donuts or small jumps around the shop till I get the hang of a faster RC car.

Thanks

On my son's Score TT that is about a month old and maybe a couple dozen battery packs through it:
I did add the machined aluminum motor mount right away. Once you see how much flex the 550 motor puts on the plastic motor mount, you'll understand.
The stock servo lasted half-way through the third battery. Upgraded to Hitec.
He broke a caster block after hitting a rock. Upgraded to Vanquish caster and knuckles.
The shocks, we had to add oil to rear shocks out of the box. One was half-full.
We are finding cracks in the body right in front of the rear fenders; where the body mounts to the cage. I did the drywall tape/shoe-goo treatment last night.

Super fun truck. I plan to put a TT body and tires on my Yeti kit chassis once they are available.

I personally upgraded the pinion to a 20 tooth after seeing how slow it was compared to slashes and other short course trucks. I run on 2s but have no interest in going to 3s. My runs times has suffered a bit but it is much faster and comparable to the trucks I run against. I also had to put a cooler on the motor. I also had the same trouble that chip head had with the body, but I fixed the way he did and it has worked well.

It's a really fun truck!
