Default Yeti wheels seem to be locked

Wanted to ask before I take the car apart.
I have just got to rolling chassis while waiting for parts. I went with open axles and bought the extra diff gears from axial. I followed the manual regards orientation of diff,99% sure.
now with the wheels on at motor mounted and meshed correct I can not push the model, the wheels are locked. I unmeshed the motor and still the same. i can turn each wheel freely ,the diffs works in that respect.
am i missing something simple here?

One area that can be misassembled is the motor mount plate and spur gear. Try removing the spur gear and see if that frees things up.

I was hoping to get more replies. I will have to start striping down.
If a diff assembly is installed the wrong way round what effect would that have?

I guess it could. But you’d probably not be able to get the cover on if the diff is in the wrong orientation.

Pull the spur, it takes 30 seconds

SlidePanda, You were correct. I took the trans out and all looked ok UNTIL i see the slipper plate on backwards! So the flat side of the plate was pressed onto the plastic case.
I was all set to check the diffs were fitted correct ,glad i followed your advice.
