Also a guy on ebay that paints and sells heads made for 12 inch dolls. He has a bunch of different ones, but I got Rick and Neegan. https://www.ebay.com/usr/headworld?_...72.m2749.l2754 |

Finally decided to fix the servo link to the rack on this thing, also noticed I never put up any pics after I got this thing running... I need to do some upgrades on the steering for this thing, little savox waterproof hates making this thing turn.. This is the link I found on EBay.. |

Video of some steering issues, It already has the Vanquish bearing setup.. I put on the Vanquish Front bulkhead.. Vanquish Bellcranks and the Rack.. Having some issues at the end of travel each direction it feels like it is hitting the bottom of the driveline going to the front Diff.. Anyone else have that issue with this setup, I think I'll take it apart again? |

Some of the aftermarket racks require the underside of the diff cover to be clearanced to allow the rack to freely move.

took it apart and shaved the lower part of the gearbox where it was making contact with the Vanquish rack, and it is much smoother, thanks!

Picked up some StrongArms, Pretty much RPM arms with a sleeve preinstalled and some new hardware.. Before... I knew I couldn't use the supplied hardware on the outer end, as the factory hardware already hit on the Axial beadlocks for some reason and this new hardware is bigger. So what my plan was to get Vanquish uprights and some Exo hinge pins and use the little setscrew in the bottom of the uprights to hold the pins in like Axial did. Foiled... Uprights installed anyway with the factory screws. Now to make it more "Scale".. |

Been working on an area to play with this thing, roughed out the blackberries to start figuring out my "Track".. Mr. Yeti does not like Blackberry stumps.. Ended up running a couple packs thru, got the route figured out where the track will be, now its time to work on the Yeti a bit. The sidewinder 2 / reedy non sensored brushless combo is like an on/off switch on this thing and the savox waterproof servo is a pig, barely turns the 2.2s. I picked up a new servo and decided to try out the system I took out of my SCX10II, Tekin RS, Pro4, and a BEC.. Last shots with the old System.. Hmmm, Pro4 is pretty big. Without some carving, I think it will give me issues. So here we go, Tekin RS, ROC412 3100, BEC, and a Savox Servo. (also shown is a very puffy 3s 5000 Battery) Battery and plugs changed to the same 3s 5200s that I am running in the TRX4Bronco and my SCX10II. (makes charging simpler when vehicles run the exact same battery type.) And Ready to play again. So, went to play, felt a bit more controllable being sensored, and all felt pretty good till it stared doing the same no reverse / odd grinding sound that the SCX10II did with this system. So yeah, I think its the ESC. Probably time for a Mamba X something. I like being able to turn drag brake on and off like on my SCX10II, makes it more fun. |

I have a roc412 sitting idle that I had contemplated throwing in the yeti to replace the rtr vangaurd system, but wasn't sure how it would do. What are you thought on it after having run it? I assume you're is the 3100 kv.

Yes it is the 3100, it seemed pretty good, mine never had the vanguard system so I don't know how it compares. Slower than the 5300 reedy, but much smoother on the bottom with the sensor wire
