I'm 0 for 2 on solid axle trophy trucks including all the required bearings. (cheap Feiyue twin-hammers clone was missing one in the transmission!)

After about 15 seconds of my first battery pack... "Why is the wheel wobbling so much?"

The good news?
That Carisma motor I was talking about is BONKERS.

The brass press-in ball ends on the front scale shocks also exploded within those first couple seconds... Can't stand the heat, I guess! Standard plastic here I come!
It was really fun for a bit, though. Can't wait to get that bearing in...

Are there any body alternatives for the rock racer , or even stock body replacement available?

Check rc recycler they sell stock parts cheap.

I also saw a lot of people fit 1/16 bodies on the Jr rock racer.
If I remember they were polaris 1000 ATV

Not much luck there. I can't believe that axial still has no bodies for this thing!
Anyone want to sell a rock racer body let me know.

Nothing on tower hobbies?

I also saw custom bodies on ebay, with carbon fiber finish.

Nothing on eBay other than those 50$ carbon bodies ,a bit overkill.
