Question Recommendations for ESC that WON'T catch on fire

Greetings,

Most of you may have seen my previous thread regarding my Vanguard ESC that caught fire.

Any recommendations on a waterproof ESC that won't catch on fire?

You can burn up any esc with too much amperage.
The new MMX or the proven Mamba Max X
The BLE is also a great choice

hobby wing pro sct. costs around 80 bucks and you can run 2-4s. isn't vanguard a remanufactured castle? why give them more money?
