Thought I erased my previous post, as I'd figured it out. Just a matter of removing more material from the body around the rear mount to accommodate the raised surround of the pseudo post-pin thing to let the body sit more flush to the cage. I just hadn't taken enough out, so the body was sitting up on that bit of the cage, costing me a critical mm or two

Wrapping up my first kit build and first body in decades. Couple paint bleeds :( but turned out pretty well... and used A LOT of paint. My brain cells still hurt, even with fans blowing the fumes away from me while working
