Raptor Yeti Has anyone done the proline body ?? http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2017...9f98cc7725.jpg Hang up and Drive |
Re: Raptor Yeti If I can find one I will |
Re: Raptor Yeti I have the body and it's very thick. Really cool body. But the rear tires for me needed more clearance. So I had to order wider SLW hubs. But I really like the body. |
Raptor Yeti It's thick, but what is needed cut pretty well, will need some touch ups still ,bodies appears to fit well in Back as I'm running stock wide hubs Hang up and Drive |
Re: Raptor Yeti Roughed out and marked. As we are finally enjoying a cold front and rain, time to Parma ! http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2017...2d43be8ffb.jpg Hang up and Drive |
Re: Raptor Yeti Mine works fine with some bolt on Revolvers. Nice and thick Lexan...I later cut the back out entirely - looks much better. http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/r...psh6jnxk2t.jpg http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/r...ps1jgrf4ef.jpg |
Re: Raptor Yeti I love mine.... body has seen some use for sure, but has held up very well... I didnt really like the front so I cut it off, and mounted a light bar from my sons dromida https://c7.staticflickr.com/1/654/30...a5cc4acb_c.jpg https://c6.staticflickr.com/1/741/32...1c2ebc83_c.jpg https://c4.staticflickr.com/1/381/32...13116637_c.jpg |
Re: Raptor Yeti Im running the raptor body. My rig was a Score and I never got around to getting the cage so a huge landing upside down has killed my home made rear body mounts and put a huge crack up the side of my body. http://i.imgur.com/HLuhnPch.jpg |
Re: Raptor Yeti Havin fun, bit more trimming and we will be done... http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2017...8e09e35915.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2017...76cb4d3849.jpg Hang up and Drive |

Raptor Yeti Finished, now time to scratch it up ! First time using Spaz ... OK but I'm sticking to Parma Candy base came out even, but the edges were fogged for lighter not darker...... the background is mirror chrome with black Parma sealer. I like the pop https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...6ab20123e7.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...c628ef52fa.jpg Hang up and Drive |
Re: Raptor Yeti Will this work for the TT or just the regular yeti |
Raptor Yeti Not sure, only trim in rear I needed was corner pockets for the sway bar links Is the tt cage much different ? Hang up and Drive |
Re: Raptor Yeti 1 Attachment(s) As you can tell, I haven't run it with the body on yet. Otherwise, it would be all scratched up, but I'll add it anyways... |
Re: Raptor Yeti I know I'm really late to the game - but hopefully someone is still watching this. How did you deal with the rear body mounts? The ones that are used for the normal 2pc body won't come proud of the body enough to even get a look at the hole for a pin, let alone get one in without gouging the body. The PL product shots clearly show body pins in the rear, but I'm stumped as to how they managed it so far. |
Re: Raptor Yeti Mine is the exact same setup wheel tires body everything, mine is just an ild beaten down shell. |
Re: Raptor Yeti I have since sold mine but as I recall I was able to reach underneath my body/frame to push those pivoting posts up enough to slide a pin in but it was tight. There was a little bit of scratching the body over the months I ran mine when I would put the pins in. Hope that helps, Micah |
