i went with vanquish c-hubs and knuckles fit great and looking nice so far no issues. I think that's the mainly used option. But there are several options from ssd, gpm, i think boomracing aso i have a few gpm upgrades on my little monster and they also fit nice and looking great also no issues. But the material feels a little less strong than the vanquish. so on parts that are under stress i would prefer vanquish or ssd. |

I read on here that the Vanquish knuckles rub on the kit stock wheels. I haven't actually seen a picture of how much, but I have some Vanquish knuckles that should be here on Friday, and I ordered the Vanquish .450 SLW hubs just in case. |

oops, I should of written .475. I've heard the .350 will clear too. But I will post pictures up when I get my knuckles. With the plastic axial spacers and the Vanquish ones. |

I ended up going with hot racing knuckles and caster block.. I kinda watched the vanquish but my hobby shop doesn't carry them. so if anyone cares ill let ya know how they fit/work out. part # yet2101 and yet19x01. also ordered hot racings motor mount... guess its gunna be a hot racing yeti. I already have the hot racing steering set up and that seems to be working good with no issues

If anyone is going to go with Vanquish knuckles, you can order Gearheads GEA1240 SLW Hub Spacer Kit with 4-40 Screws, Gear Head RC SLW Hub Spacer Kit with 4-40 Screws (4) and the spacers plus the stock hubs will allow the kit stock wheels to clear the Vanquish knuckle. I only bought the spacer kit because it had 24 4-40 screws which I needed because I also ordered, Vanquish SLW hubs. Vanquish was out of 4-40 screws when I placed my order. Also get screws that are 3mm longer if you want to stay metric, otherwise you'll have to widen the holes a little on the kit stock rims to allow the 4-40 screws to pass through. https://www.amazon.com/Steel-Alloy-K.../dp/B00O9Y5A58 Even better, 14mm long screws. https://www.amazon.com/Steel-Alloy-K...w+Bolt+M2.5x14 Last edited by 33m; 02-25-2017 at 10:56 AM. Installed Vanquish C hubs and knuckles. It just barely rubs the rim sometimes with the stock Yeti kit hub. I'm not going to put the Vanquish hubs on for now. Also the Vanquish steering rack rubs ever so slightly under where the driveshaft enters the front differential. I read about it happening and was looking for it, seemed kinda bad. But then I installed the front end and the wheels/tires and you can't even tell. I squirted some silicon lube onto where it hits just in case. Last edited by 33m; 02-24-2017 at 07:15 PM. |

no rubbing.. works good. going to be a pain to remove the big bearing though. I wanted to use a new one but I didn't have any that size so I used the axial original

My big bearing dropped out of my stock knuckle, the other one I just tapped against the floor and it fell out. Now getting the bearings into the Vanquish knuckles took a little work. Putting all the bearings in the freezer, I was able to drop in both small ones and one big bearing. In one of the knuckles the big bearing wasn't going in easily, so I heated the knuckle up to around 120F over the fireplace and then pulled the big bearing out of the freezer, and it slid in. I also used a tiny bit of silicon lube on the knuckles to help the bearings slide in. I sprayed some on a bag and just used my fingertip to wipe the bearing areas. |
